It was an eventful morning which started with the rear car park filling up with parents of some children’s football teams. After we had set up and were ready to white dog another member of the public turned up saying she had booked our hall as well. This was amicably resolved – we had booking confirmation and the trial could begin, although later than intended. Slight clash in the order between interior 1 and exterior, but this was just adjusted. there were a couple of other hic cups but generally the trial ran well. Lots of cake and biscuits were eaten, the sun was shining, a lovely day!

Judges Report

The exterior search area is next to tennis courts, the entrance being at the end of our search area. In addtition, there was a children’s football match on the field behind the hall which meant the area was much busier and noisier than usual.With the sun shining they were very busy, this did lead to a couple of dogs being distracted but generally most coped well. A well hidden, very old find was found on an article so any wrong alerts on this search for this were discounted. It is a paved and grass covered area with some dogs finding the grassed area a bit more difficult than the concrete/wall side. Indoor searches ran well.
