Judges Report

The weather thankfully held off for the exterior search as the rain did threaten to come down!
Interior 1 – 3hides, 4minutes
Exterior – 4hides, 3minutes
Interior 2 – 5hides, 5minutes

Interior 1 had an early truffle hide on a bag as you entered the search area, with a gun oil hide on some scales on the opposite side of the corridor. Most missed one of these two; not tasking the start. Most worked past the distraction well, and made light work of the clove hide in drawers at the end of the large room.

Exterior –
Front of containers and some random items including “Scent wall” Spanish bricks, the bricks tied a lot of people up on time, but there was nothing in them. There was 3 hides down the left hand side as you looked in, low step – gun oil, container hinge – truffle, higher container hinge – clove, and then a truffle hide on the tarpaulin on the floor opposite to the containers. The wind played with the scent pools here, but most worked it brilliantly.

Interior 2 –
Perimeter of classroom containers, plus central items. One hide in Spanish bricks on way in on right – clove. Then at the bottom end, there was a truffle and gun oil hide opposite ends of the cabinets (3m apart) followed b a knee height truffle hide under the table, and a gun oil hide in the arm rest of the airplane seats.

Special mention to Sarah & Jack who found all hides and worked brilliantly to source the table hide,

Winner & Excellence to Sarah & Jack
2nd Place – Bettina & Oscar

Well done all 🐾
