Due to varying circumstances, we ended up with only 4 teams competing. Laura asked to be allowed to run both of her dogs and due to the number of competitors, I was happy to accommodate her.
T&C: All teams were able to find the scented chair, as well as the basket/parasol weight on the perimeter
Ex: Again a successful search for all teams, with Wilbur losing his handling marks due to a toilet break – which did not stop them from winning the trial thou
B&L: This search proved to be the Archilles Heel of most teams, with Fen refusing to search after having found the suitcase, Layla showing an interest in an unscented suitcase and Fly being an overexcited monkey
Wall: Again, Fen was getting tired and stopped searching after having found one item. The outside area also provided a lot of environmental distraction for pup Layla, who was too excited for her (and Mike’s) own good, so they retired after having found one scent (and having passed).
