‘New’ ‘On-Line’ trials

There are two categories making the ‘On-Line’ trials available for everyone.

Category 1– Those with more than one person in the household. (scent hider)
Category 2– Those who are on their own. (Home Alone)

All you need to enter will be a house/bungalow/mobile home with a garden.

In each category there are 4 classes:

Starters
Novice
Advanced
Elite

Eligibility

Starters

You may enter ‘Starters’:

If you haven’t entered a ‘Scentwork UK’ trial before.
You are currently in Levels 1 & 2.
You have a new dog that hasn’t qualified L3 although you have qualified yourself at L3 or above.

Novice – Those teams currently in Levels 3 & 4 and those teams who have progressed from Online Starters
Advanced – Those teams currently in Levels 5 & 6 and those teams who have progressed from Online Novice
Elite – Those teams currently in Levels 7 & 8 and those teams who have progressed from Online Advanced

Note: The ‘On-Line’ competitions will run independently from the normal ‘Scentwork UK’ trials. Points gained during the ‘On-Line’ trials will not count towards ‘Excellent’ & ‘Dog of the Year’ points and progression to the next level.
Progression within the ‘On-Line’ trials will not affect your position when the regular ‘Scentwork UK’ trials resume as the ‘On-Line Trials’ will run independently.

Home Alone Competitors

Starters

There will be 4 searches.

Tables & Chairs or House Hold items.
Exterior
Kitchen cabinets
Vehicle, wall or Fence.

Odour ‘Cloves’

1 ‘Hide’ per search

15 marks for the ‘Find’ and 10 marks for handling.

All 4 Hides need to be found to qualify.

Points 1st = 10, 2nd = 8, 3rd = 6, 4th = 4 ‘Clean Sweep’ = 2

You can enter up to 10 trials within each category at any level before you need to move on.

Your points will go forward to a ‘point’s league’.
