Another Monday morning means another Scentwork UK trial. Car all power washed and packed with boxes, luggage, netting, teas, coffees all the necessary paraphernalia.
The sun was not out yet but promised to be. At least it was not too hot for the dogs.
Judges and scribes all arrived safely and we got on with setting up all the search areas. We are so lucky at Wellingborough to have so much space available. The car park can easily take over 100 cars so lots of room for reactive dogs or if you just want to eat your lunch in peace.
Being a trial manager it is so lovely to see lots of new faces as well as ones we already know.
Massive thank you to Annette Leslie and Keith Clowes the judges for today. Also huge thank you to Jane Meadows and Jacky Clowes for scribing. I did the running!!! Must keep up my steps….
As we only had level 4 today we were giving out certificates and rosettes by 2pm. So those people who had long journeys were able to get on the road and hopefully get home nice and early.
