Trial Manager and Judges Reports

Thanks for your blog post. A few things i would like to add is that pc memory is required to be purchased in case your computer still cannot cope with everything you do along with it. One can deploy two RAM memory boards containing 1GB each, for instance, but not certainly one of 1GB and one of 2GB. One should make sure the car maker’s documentation for the PC to ensure what type of ram is required.

Judges Report – Mandy Rigby

Thank you to Pauline for asking me to Judge at her Level 2 Trial at Wichenford Memorial Hall on the 11th December 2021.

The venue is set in a lovely rural location, the hall is bright and airy with clean amenities and good search areas. We utilized a wall instead of a vehicle search which had some ideal hide opportunity with lots of pipes and doorways included

All nine competitor teams qualified showing the good standard of searching throughout the trial. I was really impressed with the clear indications provided for such an early level and the dogs real enthusiasm to search.

Congratulations to Jo Robson with her sweet Border Collie Kit, who took first place with full marks and gained her Excellent Award. Kite works quietly and methodically with a lovely indication. Followed closely behind with full marks was Caroline Makkai and Ebony who took second place, Ebony is an enthusiastic searcher which Caroline handles very well. Third place was Rosemary Steen with the lovely Bertie, he goes out there to get the job done and he certainly did that today with also gaining their Excellent Award. Myfanwy Scott and Honey took fourth place with some quick and efficient searches. Congratulations all, great results!

A huge well done to the further five qualifiers Debbie Chard and Spud, Tina Schuster and Rioja, Magda Ede and Queen, Fiona Somerville and Sage, Jane Matthews and Milly who all achieved very respectable scores showing the high standard at this level 2 trial. There are certainly some dogs here to watch out for coming through the ranks and I wish you all the best for your future trials

Thanks to Pauline for being such an organized trial manager and to her wonderful team of helpers, Liz and Bridget for scribing and Judy for organizing the flow of competitors. They all did a sterling job.
