Thank you for inviting me to Judge. I really do love this venue. Its geared up for the dogs to have great areas to work. So we get to see some lovely searches. This time was no exception.
We began the day with the Level 3.
We really did have some quality teams today, and alot of my notes involve comments like “Really Lovely, Awesome, Stunning, Awesome”, so you should all be very proud of the foundations and training you put it.
Nicky and Bing were Exceptional throughout every area, as was Em and Bailey.
However many teams had some stand out moments today. Dexter, Lola and Crosby all showed us how a vehicle search should be done.
Breacon, Tye, and Hex were really lovely during tables and Chairs.
Well done everyone. It really was a close run thing today.
The afternoon was the Level 5
Again there were some lovely teams working.
Gunner, Time, Prince, and Molly were amazing here, and Sams commitment to the scent was second to none, mum didnt quite believe him the 1st couple of times, but he was insistent that he was right, and he was.
The interior areas were worked well by most teams, and we had some good results here too.
I want to take a second here to mention Jo, and Dolly. what a great team. I wrote in Big Capitals in my notes….. Love this relationship.
Sarah and Prince were faultless. Wow what a team,it was a joy to watch you work
Well done everyone

If I can offer any advice, it is this… Remember to Thank your dogs for the work they are doing. Level 5 is a big step up from the lower levels, and a quick treat or a verbal queue before moving on is nice.
People get caught up with the time element, but please consider this. A motivated dog will work quicker than a de-motivated one.
