Level 7: Judge - Pippa Bentham
Big thanks to everyone today I think you all enjoyed yourselves having fun with your dogs. I saw some excellent teamwork from Amie and Bonnie which culminated in qualification in first place, Dylan lead Alison for a merry dance around the areas but managed to pull all the stops out to find 10 hides and earned them that elusive excellent award and second place. They were the only ones to qualify today. However I think the nfc entrants did some fabulous work, without the pressure of competition they really gave it a good go, I must mention Margi with Daisy who found 10 hides and called an area clear brilliant . Many thanks to Zoe for scribing and doing all the computer stuff, indispensable as always.

Thankfully it was overcast and perfect weather for searching! We were also delighted to welcome several NFC competitors trying out the reality of a L7 trial, without the added pressure of competition. Everyone did amazingly well and some great teams showed that they were ready for the challenge at this level. Congratulations to our winner Amie Pendarves and Bonnie, and also to Alison Williamson and Dylan who achieved their excellence – no mean feat at this level. Thank you to Judge Pippa for her thoughtful and challenging hides, all of which were found throughout the areas. Thank you all for being such a happy bunch of competitors – it was fun!
